I am a lecturer at the University of Birmingham, teaching courses on metaphysics, epistemology and history of philosophy. I previously worked in Glasgow and Leeds. Here is my curriculum vitae.

My research currently concentrates on metaphysics. I've spent the last few years working on persistence and composition, and I am now focusing on issues in metametaphysics, the metaphysics of location and supersubstantivalism. Outside of metaphysics I dabble in the philosophy of religion, as well as some philosophy of science and philosophy of language.
