The Quest For Vaaitharg Maurer Notes

Using Steve Maurer's HeroQuest System
This is a set of notes designed to allow the Quest for Vaaitharg to be converted to Steve Maurer's HQ system, rather than YAHQS by Nils Weinander. You will, obviously, need a copy of my Quest, freely available from my webpage here. All skills are Special chances.

NB: Can use vine attack plus acid spit, but cannot dodge or parry.
Station (2)
Use elf statistics from Dorastor:Land of Doom, Deluxe RuneQuest and any other source you may have. Merely beef the elves up more and more, with more and more magic, doubling POW, INT and DEX everytime you do so. Since the player has no chance of eventual success you can make the stats up on the fly.
Station (4)
Boztakang will heal all lost magic points, hit points and fatigue. He can return 10 points of Rune magic per point of POW the character spends.
