The Cast

The NPC's in my campaign are described here. Obviously I won't be putting up character statistics for them as my players are still playing the campaign, so herein is information only as much as the PCs know. These are only those NPCs that have recurring roles or were important enough to be mentioned even though they are dead/gone/never coming back into my campaign.

Manannan Rawson

Manannan is the Head of the Family Rawson. He's growing old, and nearing his 60th winter. Feeling that a lifetime of organising his family and stopping it from destroying itself, it is now time to retire. In doing this he has purchased a small house near Galin where his brother also lives. He is now trying to sort out his estate and hopes to have found a worthy successor to his position by the time he turns 65.

He is looking, also, for a worthy contestant to enter the Tournament of Kustria - and all members of the family are clamouring to be chosen for this revered honour, and are setting out to make either themselves or their knights seem worthy enough to earn the position.

He likes the group of PCs a lot, they have managed to get him out of many troubled situations in the past while they served as members of the Family Guard. As the characters have very high Loyalty (Family) Passions in general, they also respect him back. His political backing will be very useful in the future, as well as him serving as a source of employment (read: adventure hooks).

Anna Halifar

Anna is both a Priestess of the Farmer Caste and secretly a priest of Lodril. She runs the Lodril temple in the centre of Mt. Fiesive, and was glad to let Deola join the cult as having a Lord Caste as a member would give them political influence in the outside world t prevent their pagan worshipping from being discovered. If it was ever found out that they were worshipping a pagan god they would all be excommunicated and the cult banned, most likely leading to an eruption from Mt. Fiesive which has only lain silent all these centuries because of their rituals to suppress the volcano god. Clich here for more information on the Lodril cult within Otkorion.

Anna is, as yet, unaware of the fact that Deola joined the cult through her connections with Arkat the Destroyer, which might or might not hinder relations in the future.

Mistress Bastari

A vamprice Uzuz bristling with Hero Powers, one of the more formidable undead in Tislif, able to kill at a glance she is not to be trifled with. Having only recently been introduced to Lugh Rawson, a secret Vivamorti worshipper, she has taken in interest in him because of his rising power both within Vivamort and as an Illuminate in the ranks of the Church and Family Rawson. She sees him as a great tool for the future. Who knows what evil plans she will dream up for Lugh to enact?

The Barrowranger

The Barrowranger is a mysterious figure in and around Otkorion. He appears to be connected to the cult of Arkat the Destroyer, and by the by no-one knows anything about him. When Lugh Rawson joined Arkat the Destroyer he was sent to the Barrowranger (who seemingly exerts immense control over the cult in the Safelster region) - who co-ordinates and examines all prospective cult members who are already, or who plan to be, members of chaos cults. Joining Chaos to Destroy Chaos is not to be taken lightly and the Barrowranger ensures that there are no people in the cult abusing the power. The Barrowranger displays no positive emotions, is vastly overpowered, violent and dangerous. His position in the campaign at the moment is as Lugh's mentor (or owner?).

The Duncolm

Naisii Brodie, Duncolm, Temporal Incarnation of Death and Bishop of the Church. He has made a brief appearance in the campaign, but an important one. When the characters got hold of the Crown of Arkat they decided amongst themselves, after only slight dissension, that they would give it away to a higher power as they surmised that they themselves could not protect it. They took it to the Duncolm at Sword Wall, somewhat south of the Salantia Forest. The Duncolm has remembered this act, and will most likely be willing to aid the party at some point in the future.

General Stefan Biswieck

General Stefan has also made only brief appearances in the campaign. He has even invited certain characters to dinner (if only to find as much as he could about Lugh Rawson). Stefan was Lir's friend and it was after Lugh Rawson spoke to Stefan that the decision to assassinate Lugh was made. Lugh knows that the General will be after him one day, and plans to have him done away with as soon as possible.

Maborn Penhalagon

The party went to a shrine in the Salantia Forest and cleared it of undead, returning it to the power of St. Chalana whom it was consecrated to. In doing so they rescued a piece of truestone loaded with Chalana cult rune magics, and gave it to the cult in Fiesive as a gift. Maborn Penhalagon is the Priest of St. Chalana for Fiesive, and serves only the rich and famous. His temple is known locaolly as "Filth Halls" because of it's corruption. Maborn himself is a politically active priest. His position in the campaign is tertiary, but he has been used for a ressurection for the party - after receiving the truestone he is willing to do a few favours for the party, although the party do not known when these favours will run out.

Xavier

Xavier has appeared twice. He is a (badly named) Trickster who is protected by the King of Fiesive himself. He appeared once to try and win the hand of a river nymph in marriage (the adventure from Codex #2) and once in the Sacred Time HeroQuest where he took the part of St. Eurmal. He was quite perturbed by the events on the Quest. He has taken little interest in the parties activities, but the PCs have met him and have more than a passing acquaintance with the trickster.
